Toast and Roast

What an amazing establishment especially for a coffee shop. Love the atmosphere. Very spacious and clean. Coffee is smooth and delicious but the food is top notch. The avocado toast is spot on. Go for a single unless you have an appetite. I could taste every single ingredient and that’s rare to come across these days. Light and refreshing to say the least. Overall it is a place to come back too however the service could use a boost of excitement. I would recommend it for a light and refreshing morning start to your day.

As a local, I love what they did with the building. What a wonderful space for a coffee spot. The “snow globe coffee” was smooth, and not overly sweet. More like hints of flavor, so one could still taste the coffee. I really enjoyed it (Pictured) . I also had the “Margarita toast”. It was sophisticated in a way that each flavor could be tasted! The sour dough bread was the best I’ve had. Honestly I thought it was a bit pricey (especially considering my partners sandwich was loaded with salmon and was cheaper) but would order it again. I’m actually excited to try their other loaded toast options, as they have many vegetarian options! My partner ordered the “ lox n’ roll” on a jalapeno bagel. He said it was the BEST lox bagel he has ever had ( pictured). To drink, he had the “London fog”. At first he said he wished it was a bit sweeter, then after a few sips we found out it just needed to be stirred and was perfect , so make sure to stir yours.

This is just what green street needed! The smoothies are my favorite, the toasts are so good you can even build your own! The place is adorable. I always see the manager Jaden smiling, being friendly to customers! Cheyenne always takes my order and makes all the drinks and is Attentive to all the Customers! It’s nice to sit outside when it’s warm out !! But the inside is a great vibe! They have so many drinks to choose from!

The coffee shop atmosphere is cozy, and they have a pretty extensive coffee menu. Pictured here is the May Flowers cold brew (note, this is a seasonal drink). The cold brew was strong and very good! It was also nice to be able to purchase an XL size, this isnt common except at chain coffee shops. I recommend this place for a good cup of coffee!

Toast and Roast is the best!! The customer service is always amazing, Emma was so kind and helpful! She helped me print out a picture of my dog on my coffee! I love the atmosphere and the food. It’s such a cozy/ friendly environment, I recommend it to everyone I know!

Such a great car coffee shop! I got the Hunnybear latte and it was so good! I highly recommend it if you like cinnamon! The service is amazing and it's a family owned cafe and all of the staff is very friendly and welcoming!

Great Find in McHenry! Toast & Roast cafe has such a warm, welcoming vibe. The atmosphere is cozy and stylish, and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Their menu offers a wide variety—everything we tried was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care! Whether you’re stopping in for a quick coffee or a full meal, it’s a spot well worth checking out if you’re in the area!

Super clean I tried their Lox on the Fox, fig Toast and Pecan French toast as well as their signature sweet almond hot coffee. The French toast and Lox on the fox was great same with the coffee. The fig toast was good too just wished there was more fig jam but I thinks that's a personal preference. The associates where nice store was clean plenty of seating in and outdoors.
